The History of nubedian
Our success story began in 2010 at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology (FZI). The founders Dr. Bruno Rosales Saurer and Mathias Schmon met during a research project. The goal of the easycare project at the time was to find innovative solutions to relieve the burden on family caregivers. During this time, the enormous potential regarding the support and the entrepreneurial possibilities in the social and healthcare sector was discovered, and with it the first product ideas. One year later, nubedian GmbH was founded as a spin-off of the FZI with headquarters in Karlsruhe.

Today, we develop web-based software solutions for the social and healthcare sectors and are one of the leading software providers for digital discharge management as well as care consulting. With an international team of over 30 employees, we continuously develop the software solutions in exchange with our users and our partner network. Thus, we sustainably meet the demanding dynamics of the social and healthcare sector. By close intersectoral cooperation, coordination efforts are reduced and complex processes are optimized. By doing so, the persons concerned are in the center of attention and an efficient, safe and resource-saving care is ensured.

Die Situation mit COVID-19 macht sich schon längst in der Organisation der Arbeitswelt bemerkbar. Vermehrt gehen Arbeitnehmer ins Homeoffice und nutzen digitale Lösungen in ihrem beruflichen Alltag. Dies hat auch Auswirkungen auf die Zusammenarbeit unterschiedlicher Akteure im Rahmen von Projekten. Infolge der bestehenden Kontaktbeschränkung und erhöhten Vorsichtsmaßnahmen wurden in Krankenhäusern und Kliniken Projektpräsentationen und gemeinsame Besprechungen vertagt oder bis auf weiteres eingefroren.
